How to choose a chest of drawers

Start with the storage you need. A four-drawer unit may suit a smaller collection of clothing and accessories, while a five-, six- or seven-drawer design gives you more separate spaces to organise your belongings. Drawer count alone does not tell you how much will fit: check the dimensions and layout of the individual product.

Measure the space where the chest will stand, including its width and depth. Allow enough room to open the drawers and move comfortably around the unit. If you plan to place a mirror or other items above it, check the product’s height too.

Choose a finish that suits your room

Browse the available white, black, brown, cream and other finishes to find a look that works with your bedroom furniture. Some units are raised on legs, while others have a different base design. Product photographs and descriptions will help you compare these details.
