Delivery for in-store and online sales

We realise that you are anxious to receive your items, and we are eager to deliver to you as fast as possible. The furniture we sell is heavy and bulky, so it takes a bit longer to move than small, lightweight items like clothing. Please consider this delivery info.

Delivery of furniture is costly. We try to offer a reasonable delivery rate. If you are unhappy with the cost of your delivery, please reach out to us on WhatsApp, email or visit us – we will try to get a better rate. Please note that it might not be possible. 

Most courier companies do NOT transport furniture, so options are limited. Delivery time frames are affected by strikes, slow traffic due to load shedding, and similar disruptions. You are always welcome to pick up at our branch; we will gladly assist, and there is no additional cost. 

How long will my delivery take?

We do offer same-day delivery. As soon as we receive your order, we will contact you to check that the delivery time is suitable. WHY?!! – Furniture is bulky, and we know that there must be someone at home to open the house/apartment/flat/room up for us.  

Deliveries may take two to seven days. We will always check before attempting delivery to ensure the time and date are suitable and that someone is at home to open. 

“Special” orders do take between two and four weeks. Again, why so long? Loadshedding is affecting manufacturers and slowing production.

Same-day delivery:

  • Yes, we do offer same-day delivery! We can not deliver furniture when it is raining.
  • Please arrange with the branch or leave us a note in the comment section. We’re going to try, and hopefully, we have the required stock. If you arrange in advance, we will make sure we deliver on time. 

  • Contact us EARLY for same-day delivery so that we can still fit it in. Month-end periods are usually busy, but we will still try to deliver within two to five days. Furniture is bulky, heavy, and takes time to handle. We would rather take a bit longer to get your furniture to you in good condition.

How much does delivery cost?

We calculate delivery costs at checkout, so you can see the total cost before placing your order. We dispatch all online orders from our Midrand branch. If the system cannot calculate your delivery fee automatically, our team will calculate it and send the amount to you via WhatsApp. Please note that only a limited number of courier companies specialise in furniture deliveries.

Deliveries for online orders of R5000 or more in a 20km radius from our distribution centres are free!

Delivery country-wide (courier clients)?

We do deliver country-wide. Courier companies handle our deliveries outside Gauteng; therefore, items sent via couriers are unassembled. We send the items unassembled to prevent damage due to handling.

Your delivery fee depends on your location and whether you live in a main centre or an outlying area. We calculate all delivery charges automatically at checkout.

To ensure accurate delivery pricing, please enter your correct postal code, full delivery address, and more than one contact number. Incorrect postal codes or address details may result in additional delivery charges.

Before completing your order, please carefully review all information entered. We cannot accept responsibility for any additional costs resulting from incorrect delivery information provided during checkout.

More info regarding furniture delivery:

  • We make use of small independent contractors to deliver our products in Gauteng to keep prices down. They are affected by traffic and by customers keeping them waiting (or by not pointing out that they are on the 10th floor and that we are not allowed to use the lifts).
  • Furniture is bulky and takes longer to reach you than smaller items, meaning that the shipping cost is much higher than for small parcels. We ship from a single location in Midrand.
  • We deliver assembled goods in Gauteng; therefore, if you need your goods boxed, please let us know. That requires careful handling to ensure that you receive your items in an (almost) perfect condition.
  • Contact us for deliveries outside of Gauteng. We do have many trusted courier contractors that we can use. Track your order and stay informed throughout the delivery process.

Things to remember when you collect yourself:

  • Rope (to fasten the item on your vehicle);
  • Blankets to prevent your furniture from scratches;
  • We will gladly assist with loading, and pick-up is entirely free.
  • Loading and fastening furniture takes time. It is similar to moving house – allow enough time for us to load and fasten to ensure that goods are not damaged.

Terms and conditions info regarding delivery:

  • Delivery for orders of R5000 or more in a 20km radius from our distribution points is free. Terms & Conditions apply. When the value of the products in your cart is R5000 or more, a free delivery option will automatically appear.
  • ** Working days for couriers are Mondays to Fridays. Couriers do not deliver on weekends.
  • ** Please note that delivery times are estimates, and we work closely with our delivery partners to get your order to you as soon as possible. That said, please note that certain factors, such as rain, may delay delivery. Delivery may take longer during peak periods.
  • Should you place an order and our courier company advises that they do not service this area, we will contact you to advise and arrange either delivery to the nearest town (if possible) or a refund. We will always do our best to deliver to your area or as close as possible.
  • For payment via EFT/Bank Deposit, delivery takes place once the payment reflects in our records. 
  • We will contact you to make an appointment regarding delivery. We will not just pitch in front of your door – promise! We know you need to open up. For a more accurate delivery time for a specific item, please call us.
